The fifth Charity CD-ROM is also the distribution CD-ROM for Forgotten Futures XI. It contains complete rules, background, adventures and source material for role playing adventures using Stanley G. Weinbaum's Planetary stories setting, as well as some bonus material from the Forgotten Futures CD-ROM. The contents are:

    A detailed role playing setting for Weinbaum's 'Planetary' stories, with details of the worlds and aliens of the solar system, space travel by atomic rocket, romantic SF adventures. There's a comprehensive adventure campaign with three long adventures, twenty adventure outlines, and much more. Extra files include deck plans for a spaceship, a mobile factory, and a research submarine

    An 1898 parody of The War of the Worlds, by C.L. Graves and E.V. Lucas, in which London is invaded by "Wenuses," alien women from space.

    A snapshot of period advertising, useful as a source of period imagery and styles.
  • A Twentieth Century Dinner - Foods of the Future.
    An 1899 article by Alfred Arkas from Pearson's Magazine, looking forward to a future of concentrated food pills and medicines.

    A short article by Fritz Volkmann describing German electric train trials in 1904.

  To date (20-12-2010) more than £1981 has been raised for the Imperial Cancer Research Fund and the Cancer Research Campaign. These charities have now merged as Cancer Research UK. There have also been some CDs sold in SF convention auctions, with the money going directly to the convention charity; another £80 or so has been raised this way for various charities.
